The label on the inside of this doll lamp states "Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. listed Portable Lamp Issue Number B-2350. Softlite, Inc. The lamp has a cloth, pink swiss dotted fabric for shade and doll dress. IT DOES NEED CLEANING!! I leave that up to the buyer. The Shade for the top of the lamp and the bottom of the lamp that creates the dress are lavender plastic shades. Made in the USA. It was tested and works fine. Great for your little ones room or even a fantastic addition to a Vaniety Area for us girly girls!!
